Privacy policy
Tackdriver has no advertising, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell your data.
Where data lives
Your logbook works on the phone without an account. It contains the profile and handle you choose, firearms and loads, range sessions and optional range names, target photographs, measurements, notes, firing solutions, and related usage records.
When iCloud is available, Apple CloudKit stores a private copy so your own devices can sync. The full-resolution target scan stays in your private logbook.
Camera and location
Camera and photo-library access happen only when you choose a capture or import flow. When you ask it to, the solver uses a location fix on the phone to fill elevation and latitude for the current firing solution.
Those coordinates are not saved or uploaded, and location is not used for advertising or background tracking.
What others can see
Anything marked Only you stays in your private logbook. Public posts, comments, reactions, profile details, and practice-board submissions are copied to Tackdriver’s public CloudKit database and can be read by other users.
Friends posts use an iCloud share that a participant must accept. A public target image is a smaller feed or audit copy, never the full-resolution scan.
Your controls
You can delete your posts and comments in the app. Deletions queue while offline and are retried when iCloud is available. You can hide or report content and block a shooter immediately on your device.
Deleting the app removes its local container. Copies already synced to iCloud are subject to your iCloud settings and Apple’s retention practices.
Support requests
The support form asks for an email address, request type, and message so a request can be answered. Netlify processes and stores those submissions on Tackdriver’s behalf. They are used only for support, privacy, safety, or public-content removal requests and retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve and document the request.
Do not send target photographs, firearm serial numbers, precise location, or other sensitive information through the support form.
Contact and requests
Use the Tackdriver support form for questions, access requests, deletion requests, safety reports, and public-content removal requests. Include the public handle or record involved when relevant, but do not include private logbook data.
Tackdriver is not directed to children under 13.
